Assessment serves as a tool or method of obtaining measurable and objective data about a person’s symptomatic behaviour. It gives an in-depth understanding of an individual’s emotional, behavioral and cognitive functioning.
Psychological assessments help to review the strengths and weaknesses of your personality, cognitive abilities and emotional well-being. Standardized psychometric tests are used to provide an objective picture which helps you and the therapist to identify and address the issues at hand, and formulate a treatment plan accordingly. Areas of assessment include personality, emotion, intelligence and learning disability, and aptitude. We also conduct corporate testing on request.
An aptitude test gauges your abilities, interests and personality traits, which help outline your vocation. Shedding light on your strengths and weaknesses, aptitude tests aim to equip individuals to make more informed career choices, or resolve any dilemmas about the same. While it is designed for children who are at the threshold of a major career decision, aptitude tests also cater to adults who need guidance to make a career switch, or understand their most fulfilling career choice. Separate tests are administered based on age – 12 to 16 years for children and one for adults belonging to the category 16 and above.
